Some of our greatest lessons in life (and in our workouts) come from a difficult time that we had to struggle through. This is is true for us, for our children and our parents, through everyday experiences and throughout the body. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself in all things, in a way that is smart and appropriately matched to your needs. Find ways to push yourself out of your comfort zone to foster growth in all things, and increase the breadth of things you can achieve. If we never step outside our comfort zone, we never learn new things. In order to find that balanced area, we must let the brain explore, “how far is too far?”. The brain is brilliant, and will accommodate in order to succeed in a task. Remember this in life as well, and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there in a way that is stimulating and rewarding.
